The 2018-2019 Educator Open House will be Tuesday October 9th 4-6pm
This event is FREE but registration is required - click here to sign-up.

Zoo staff will be on hand to provide details about: 

  • Self guided field trips, Education Programs, and STEAM based Professional Development Workshops

  • Meet some of our education program Animal Ambassadors while viewing the Zoo’s Education Campus

  • Receive 10% off a Zoo Membership with valid school ID
  • Other local science/cultural organizations will be on hand to share their programming information as well.

Whether you are a classroom teacher, home schooling parent, museum or park service educator, the Zoo’s Education Department curriculum workshops are geared to help you engage your students in environmental education.
